Right-click a cell and choose Comments. Enter your explanation and add it. A blue triangle then marks the commented cell.

The existing sales volume plan is the starting point.
300,000 units expected.
A price reduction is expected to increase sales volume.
Record the assumption.
For example: “Because of the price reduction, I am raising the sales volume plan from 240,000 to 300,000 units.”

Does a comment change the cell value?
No. Change the plan value separately. The comment explains your assumption or decision.
Where are comments stored?
The video shows the internal }CellAnnotations_ cube followed by the related cube name. It stores comment text and metadata. For everyday reading and adding comments, use the Comments dialog.
Is this a complete history of value changes?
You see the history of the comments that were added. Changing a value does not automatically create a comment or explain the change.
