In this video, I’ll show you how to perform simple calculations directly in a cube view. Model adjustments or special rules are not necessary. This method is directly available to every user.
Mark elements in the cube view and create a calculation by right click.
The calculated element appears directly in the view and in the subset editor.
The calculation automatically adjusts when you change rows or columns.

Scenario:
Annual sums had to be determined via additional rules or external calculations.
Result:
The years 2025 and 2026 are added directly in the cube view and displayed immediately.

So kannst du Berechnungen direkt in deiner Cubeview in Planning Analytics durchführen. Öffne eine Cubeview und markiere die Elemente, die du für deine Berechnung verwenden möchtest. Mit einem Rechtsklick wählst du „Berechnung“ und dann „Mitgliederberechnung“. In meinem Beispiel möchte ich die Jahre 2025 und 2026 addieren. Wähle dafür die gewünschte Rechenoperation und schon siehst du das Ergebnis direkt in der View. Die Berechnung erscheint automatisch im Subset-Editor als neues Element, das du dort frei verschieben kannst.
Außerdem kannst du das Ergebnis auch für weitere Berechnungen verwenden. Wenn du deinen Zeilen- oder Spaltenaufbau änderst, wird die Berechnung automatisch im gesamten Cube mitgeführt. Du kannst also ganz flexibel weiterarbeiten. Möchtest du die Berechnung wieder entfernen, mach einfach einen Rechtsklick auf das berechnete Element und wähle „Berechnung entfernen“.

Here is how to perform calculations directly in a Planning Analytics cube view. Open a cube view and select the members that you want to use. Right-click and select Calculation, then Member calculation. In this example, I add the years 2025 and 2026. Select the required operation and the result appears directly in the view. The calculation also appears automatically as a new member in the set editor, where you can move it freely.
You can also use the result in further calculations. If you change the row or column layout, the calculation is retained throughout the cube, so you can continue working flexibly. To remove it, right-click the calculated member and select Remove calculation.
