Open a view of the cube you want to work with. When configuring the setting in a book, first switch to Edit mode.

Several saved views, but a growing collection of tabs? The view switcher in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace lets you choose another view directly in the open cube viewer. You can reach the view you need without returning to the Data tree.

Open View options using the settings icon and enable View switcher. Then select a saved view from the new dropdown. Available from PAW 2.1.16 or 3.1.3.

Where do I enable the selector?
Use the cube view settings icon and enable View switcher. In a book, enable this option in Edit mode.
Does the switcher create a new view?
It selects an existing saved view. Create and save the views you need before switching between them.
