When does Planning Analytics need an update?
Check versions. Plan your upgrade.
Architect, Perspectives and older editors are a reason to review your environment. Installed versions, support status and your requirements determine whether an upgrade is due. Appearance alone does not answer that question.
The short answer
Record the versions of TM1 Server, PAW and PAfE and the clients in use. Check the IBM product lifecycle and plan tests for your processes, rules and reports. Standard support for Planning Analytics Local 2.0.9 ended on 31 October 2025; check Extended Support separately.

Does an old interface prove there is no support?
No. Check the exact version and agreed support coverage. Appearance is a clue, not reliable evidence of support status.
What applies to Planning Analytics Local 2.0.9?
IBM lists 31 October 2025 as the end of standard support and Extended Support availability through 31 October 2029. Extended Support is not an automatic replacement for standard support; check coverage and your agreement.
